A bit about me...
My name is Jona Pettijohn. I’m an associate missionary with World Missions Advance and a licensed minister with the Christ For The Nations Minister’s Network. I graduated from Christ For The Nations Bible Institute in 2024 with a Certificate of Biblical Studies, and I’m also a Certified EFL (English as a Foreign Language) teacher. I’ve worked independently and with missions teams in Asia, Africa, North America, and South America. I’m passionate about partnering with God’s people to accomplish His will with excellence. I aim to use every gift God has given me for His glory and His Kingdom, and to help others do the same so that His will may be done on Earth as it is in Heaven!
Testimony
Growing up in a Christian household, I gave my life to Jesus at a young age. I always knew I wanted to use my life to serve Him but would often shy away from the thought of doing ministry work full-time. It wasn’t until I had been working in the secular field for several years that I became very aware and concerned with the amount of confusion, deception, and hopelessness I saw in the lives of those around me (particularly the children and youth). I realized there was a deeply profound need for God’s truth to be shared and displayed in today’s society and I knew that sharing that truth would be the best thing I could do with my life. I followed God’s call to leave my job and go to Bible school and am now following His call into full-time ministry on the mission field!
